Stay sharp with Olives

Olives are a great fruit to consume, although they are popular for its version of cooking oil. Olive oil is the most preferred and healthiest of cooking oils available to us. This is due to the presence of saturated fats, which when present with the antioxidants in olives, helps in lowering the risk of heart damage and artery inflammation. Olive oil benefits us the most if consumed directly like a fruit. Cooking this oil devalues its medicinal properties. Thus, many people from Europe consume it by pouring olive oil on salads and other cooked foods. Olives are a rich source of energy and thus must be avoided by people who are trying to lose weight.
